We advise farmers in the prevention of diseases/infections and we continuously develop products and services into our hygiene management method that improve the daily work of the farmer. The result: less infections = less diseases = healthier animals and a huge decrease in the use of antibiotics!

MS Schippers UK Ltd

MS Schippers UK Ltd is part of the MS Schippers Group (established in the Netherlands) and provides innovative products to livestock farmers across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. We offer a range of high quality products and real on-farm solutions for better bio-security, hygiene, antibiotic-free production, tracking and tracing, animal well-being  and make work on the farm easier and more enjoyable!

In November 2019 MS Schippers UK Ltd won the National Pig Award. The award is for a company that has made the most positive contribution to British pig farming in the past year.

Sales Team United Kingdom

The sales team in the United Kingdom consists of four colleagues with different nationalities (English, Dutch and Danish).

The training period will take place in the Netherlands. Afterwards, you will be working fulltime in the United Kingdom on your own customer database. Every two to three months we will be asking you to come to the Netherlands for meetings, training sessions etc. Of course we will be taking the current corona measures into account.

What are you going to do as an Account Manager?

  • Your company car is more or less your office, you'll use it to visit our customers (both new and existing).
  • Before your first visit you'll give your colleague a call to ask him about his weekend. First things first 😉
  • You try to build and maintain a sustainable relationship with our customers and help them to improve their businesses.
  • Advising farmers about hygiene management is your main practice, doing this you also seize commercial opportunities.
  • During this process you'll always be the first contact person for the customer; you're responsible for the entire process; from quotation requests till after sales.

Your working region will be mainly in Yorkshire. But once and a while you will be also travelling to customers in Northern Ireland or the South West Region of England. 

In short: a lot of variety and plenty of challenges!

What we ask from you?

  • Bachelor-level professional.
  • Experience in sales.
  • Knowledge of agriculture.
  • Lots of energy and flexibility (willing to travel).
  • The team player attitude we need.
  • Native speaker English.
  • Resident in Yorkshire and the Humber or East Midlands.
